Vectorscope, Yc Waveform and RGB Parade

Vectorscope

A Vectorscope is a circular chart that shows the videos chrominace information. The saturation of the video is measured from the centre, the further away the line is from the centre the more saturated the video is.

YC Waveform

YC Waveform is a graph that shows the signal intensity of the video clip. On the YC Waveform it displays luminance information as a bright green waveform. Luminance levels range from 7.5 to 100 IRE. It also displays chrominance as a blue waveform, the chrominance level is overlaid on the luminance level.

RGB Parade

The RGB displays waveforms showing the levels of red, green and blue levels in the clip, the more the levels are the equal the more balanced the colours are in the video, the levels are measured using a scale between 0 to 100.
