Audio
The dialogue in the rough cut is very clear and can understand it. Some of the sound effects work really well like the sound effect I used for the fire finger effect when the fire ignites but the sound of the fire doesn't work well with the special effect, the sound effect I used for the scene makes the fire sound a lot bigger than it is, like a camp fire when i want it to be just a little fire. The sound effects I used in the electric hand shake effect are sounds that I thought would be quite obvious to fit with the effect but they really don't fit and kind of ruin the effect even though the effect didn't look that brilliant in the first place.
Special Effects
Two out of the Three effects I've done look really good and I'am surprised in the quality of them. The effect that i dint really like and needs a lot of work to be done with was the hand shake effect compared to the other ones it looks really dodgy and not very realistic and the little lightning strikes I used don't look convincing and don't match the rest of the effect, Ill try and improve the effect by adding a glow around the hands and making the lighting strikes match it. The teleporting effect I thought was gonna be the hardest one for me to do but It was the quickest one to do, little thing to improve on that one is to try and make it flow more fluently and add some sound effects. The best special effect I've done is the flame finger one and this was the first one I did. I think the timing of the flame going off is perfect when Sam snaps his fingers, the flame also follows Sam's finger perfectly and the glow around Sam's face and finger really seals off the effect perfectly.
Sequence
Listening to the pier feedback and re-watching the film Its quite hard to understand what's going on with the story and there's quite a few things happening in the short 2 minute sequence but we could try and fix this by adding a little bit of narration to help the film flow better together. The shots with done I think work really well with the sequence most of the acting I would say is quite wooden especially mine but I don't think that can be helped with most of are first acting roles. But I think if we add a bit of narration here and there and fix the hand shake effect I think the sequence will work really well.
